  • Focus on certain areas by filtering by categorical fields like "Brand" or "City"

  • Set conditional filters like "all dealers with an average rating greater than 4"

  • Google reviews only

  • Current Timeframe: February through June of 2023

In the row of column headers, you can hover over the ⓘ symbol next to each label to read the definition of what is being measured in that column and how the data was collected.

Where to Find Benchmarks

At the bottom of the table, you'll find aggregated numbers for each column. These are the benchmarks. We've preset the benchmarks in each column for you.

The benchmark data updates as you filter and sort the table, producing thousands of variations, each specific to your market or interests.

Common Use Cases & Training

I want to find the benchmark performance for my city

  1. Group by City
  2. Filter by where “City” “contains” your city of interest
  3. And filter by “State” is [insert state where city is located]

I want to find benchmark performance in my state

  1. Group by State. Collapse all to make it easier to see at a glance
  2. Filter by “State is” and select your state of focus. With this, you’ll have state-wide performance benchmarks.

I want to see the average performance for every state in one view

  1. Group by State
  2. Collapse all to see benchmark performance quickly for each state.

I want to find the top 5 cities with the most review activity in my state

  1. Filter by State is [insert state of interest]
  2. Sort by “Volume Per Month (Median)” & 9 > 1 (i.e. highest to lowest)
  3. The data now shows a list of the cities in your state of interest ranked by most review activity to least review activity.

Compare my city to surrounding cities

  1. Group by State
  2. Filter by “City contains” [insert primary city]
  3. Add another Filter by City, but this time change the dropdown on the left from “and” to “or” which will make sure to include all the cities independently.
  4. Add as many additional cities as you’re interested in.
  5. Expand your state and sort by any reputation data you’d like to focus on.
  6. With this list, you can compare benchmark performance for reputation data in your city with surrounding markets.
